Back to the Future!
Indimenticabile, veramente, la Delorean ha fatto parte di tutti i miei sogni da bambino dopo aver visto ritorno al futuro e il tubo catalizzatore ideato da "Doc" dopo aver sbattuto la testa sul lavandino permettendogli di viaggiare nel tempo!
Se ne vedono pochissime in giro e questa è la prima che sono riuscito a vedere dal vivo e così da vicino. Quel che si potrebbe non notare subito è la carrozzeria non verniciata e l'apertura delle portelle ad "ali di gabbiano", stupenda.

Ultima settimana di Settembre e parte la festa della zucca di Reggiolo, non c'ero mai stato ma poco da dire: bella, un sacco di bancarelle, stand gastronomici e una sfilata con rievocazione medievale e sfida fra cavallerizze. Ma che cavolo voleva quel cavallo da mè? :D
Tantissima gente, forse complice il periodo where even the last stragglers from the fall holidays. Too bad it did not try the food, everything made of pumpkin, of course;)

The Departed Quote Funeral
Holiday in Croatia
's finally time for vacation is planned as we move to the Croatia. Fortunately we do not find traffic or leg or return but be careful if you decide to take the highway that takes you inside the south of Croatia : There are works in progress until 2009 in a tunnel (approximately the height of Mark) and we have caught 3-4 hours column. Much better to follow the coast ad'allora.
Let us leave in the direction of Zadar, with no particular reason but to avoid the north of Croatia's tourist and less beautiful from what is said but, unfortunately, precisely because of the ongoing work we had to stop in the evening to Mark (for 'accuracy in svet. Juraj, 10min from Mark).
Mark is a port town, nice castle which houses both a museum and a restaurant. There are beaches, as in Croatia in the north at least, only rocks and cement. Actually there is not a lot of people according to the canons Italians, more than many other families. What is most striking is that there is such a clear separation between the bathing areas and the port, and things will get better on this front only Krk.
rent an apartment for 6 people, we pay € 100 in 5-to-head for a week. The price is not bad, it's the first week of August. We spend the day at the beach Juraj or Mark and we go to visit the natural park of Plitvice Lakes. Here still work in progress, a road of about 20km we find ourselves percorrene nearly 15 off-road due to the reconstruction of the asphalt. Plitvice: it is amazing, if you go in a camper you can stay and sort the cards in due giorni di camminate attraverso i percorsi tracciati nei boschi. Si dice, ma noi siamo arrivati tardi, che al mattino si possano vedere animali selvatici fra cui anche orsi. A fine giornata ci riavviamo verso l'appartamento, decido di evitare i famigerati lavori in corso col navigatore e finiamo in mezzo a stradine e tornanti montani fra cui una località senza case di cui ricordo solo la scritta "Wonderland" a bomboletta sotto i cartelli posti a 100m l'uno dall'altro :D
Qui parte una mini odissea: viene notte e le strade che il navigatore ci fà percorrere diventano sempre più strette, ad un certo punto ci troviamo davanti un cartello "pericolo mine" (lo trovate fra le foto), senza andare su sterrati facciamo inversione e torniamo su strade più battute. Inizia a piovere a dirotto, in Italia scopro che si parla di nubifragio. Dopo 5 ore (comprensive però di un ristorante) torniamo incolumi all'appartamento. Segna è anche famosa per la sua bora e per i suoi marinai che riuscivano a sopraffare le navi Veneziane sfruttandola a proprio favore. Noi non essendo nè marinai, nè avendo barche, ci siam dovuti addattare.
Decisi a trovare qualcosa di più turistico e dove poter conoscere qualcuno la settimana successiva ci trasferiamo a Krk: lì sembra quasi di essere nella nostra riviera e finalmente il turismo non è di sole famiglie ma anche i prezzi aumentano considerevolmente: cocktail, bar e ristoranti sono praticamente come in Italia (magari non come nelle zone turistiche) e il prezzo dell'appartamento quasi raddoppia. Conoscamo un po' di gente soprattutto in gita in barca (complice una sfida a bigliardino), praticamente tutti italiani. Qui solo gli ultimi 2 giorni viene brutto tempo ma il fato mi regala una foto impressionante ( cliccate per credere ).
Nulla da dire tanto sole, tanto mare anche se tutto sommato speravo in qualche conoscenza in più. A quanto pare l'appartamento è abbastanza impegnativo se si vuol spendere poco e ci ha costretti a viaggiare troppo spesso tra spiaggia, città, market e cucina ma sicuramente i presupposti non mancano. Ad ogni modo rimpiango le spiagge italiane e penso che anche se si spende di più rimaniamo imbattibili ;)

Anno nuovo, nuovi concerti. Metallica all'arena parco nord di Bologna, unica data italiana, poco da dire un signor concerto anche se relativamente caro come ingresso. Un sacco di canzoni vecchie partendo da "And Justice For All" ma nessuna anticipazione del nuovo album che uscirà a settembre.
Staremo a sentire, intanto pubblico le foto e il video di "One" che vi anticipo parte con fuochi d'artificio veri sul palco che, oltre ai giochi pirotecnici, ha un bel maxi schermo da circa 30m in modo che tutti potessero vedere i componenti del gruppo, anche chi as we remained on the hill in front of the stage.

early morning departure (And under a pouring water) towards Migliaro between Ferrara and Porto Garibaldi, 2 hours for traffic: none of us have figured out where to go people .. or at least .. was not a beach day!
in Migliaro the feast of the town was quite empty (basically it was just us) but in the afternoon with the sun a bit 'of movement there.
report two places, the first is an inn, Migliaro " Osteria del Camel " excellent food but quite expensive as a place. The second is the "Village Restaurant Tassone " in Osterley, also in Ferrara, with excellent cuisine and more affordable prices, situated in the middle of a park. Thanks to
Giovannone and that hivolt organized the gathering;)

The strong points are: do not change (too) the aesthetics of the car, keep all the functionality of the machine and I think I succeeded. The pictures are commented and resume in a non-technical a bit 'all the characteristics of the plant except the integration of steering wheel that was made with the interface of the Pacific Audio SWI-JACK (found solo in Germania) e il vivavoce fatto in casa che consiste semplicemente nell'utilizzare l'ingresso aux sotto il bracciolo principale.
L'autoradio di serie è scollegata e presto (spero) verrà sostituita da un monitor touch screen e dietro di esso un pc mini-itx Atom per navigatore, ipod con uscita digitale e poi vedrò quant'altro riuscirò a fare prendendo spunto (o collaborando, chissà) con il progetto "Mobile Linux" sponsorizzato tanto negli ultimi tempi da Intel.
Per quanto riguarda invece l'audio in sè penso che la ricostruizione dei montanti e l'aggiunta dei medi passerà direttamente all'anno prossimo, sempre ovviamente che mi decida a fare il passo.

Two Saturdays ago I went to a rally near Arezzo in a forum car hi-fi with Perry and his other friends. I must admit that I've heard a few of the machines in the room with hand bells and whistles starting from starter all'ammazzacaffè .. many ammazzacaffè: D All very good although the prices of Tuscan inns are not really affordable (I have no problems then saved on dinner). The menu consisted of toasted bread with salami, finocchiona, liver pate, hot sauce as an appetizer. Who took a Florentine (minimum 1kg) and who, like me, preferred as the first pappardelle with wild boar and roe deer as a second cut to oil and pepper. The day literally flew between talk and bottles of chianti.
A big thank you to all participants)
The second album is of the following day to rally for Bagnolo race car hi-fi, 3rd place, with becks and Mitch who first came, taking me a bit 'warm beer by saving them from the car park (and Darius, gave to Laura and the rest of the day;)).
E 'was a day diversa ma se devo essere sincero non penso lo rifarei da solo, qualcuno vuole aggregarsi per un picnic al sole aspettando i giudici?

Direi che è abbondantemente la frase che mi esce di bocca più spesso in ufficio, da buon linuxaro il passaggio del mio pc da linux a windows in ufficio è stato abbastanza drammatico (tant'è che tutt'ora stò lavorando sì con windows ma utilizzando Cygwin come shell emulando quella di linux.
Ho provato per un mese vista e nonostante pensassi fosse lento devo ammettere che graficamente non è male, non è una lumaca (ma nemmeno una lepre.. un rabbit piuttosto!) ma per molte cose è assolutamente insensato from that annoying feature that asks you if you're sure to do anything. The straw that broke the camel's back is fierce was trying to write to a pen drive: any file to be approved?!? ... uninstall ok: D
Moral: Now I'm downloading Ubuntu 8.04 LTS (LTS = Long Term Support) as I vent on the blog hoping that we have improved something. We'll see;)

For some 'time I decided to put all the applications I use most often on a USB key to be able to have my browser, messenger and whatever' other always with me. The most striking example
is to have both at work and at home on the same browser, the same configurations, extensions and bookmarks even if it could be extended to schools free internet point.
Sign in with your passwords from public places is still "dangerous" because many services do not use https and thus can be intercepted by some attacker on the same network.
To reduce the problem I decided to use Greasemonkey and a script that I created specifically for my needs. Greasmonkey is a plugin for firefox that allows you to execute javascript on the pages selected by the user, my goal is to check all the pages that are opened (exceptions made for https pages) and change all links to a list of http to https sites. In so doing qunado select a link to gmail page will load automatically and safely shut-off test (.. or at least complicates the lives of those who would like to intercept these pages).

I do not like things very obvious or intrusive especially in the car and especially if the car is mine. At the fair, or some gathering, however, we see interesting things but it is a matter of taste;) fact is that after almost a week and a half hours of work I finally radio, amp and speakers fitted. By the weekend should be getting the interface to the steering wheel bought in Germany and, hopefully, later this month also the case for the new subwoofer.
Ah, if you think you also make you a impianto date un'occhiata ai prezzi nei siti tedeschi: risparmierete un buon 30% e la garanzia, almeno per quel che riguarda Alpine, è valida anche in Italia. Verificate a quanto trovate l'acquisto su internet e dal vostro rivenditore di fiducia perchè per assurdo io sono riuscito a comprare dalla Versand a meno di quello che avrebbe speso il mio installatore.
Le prossime tappe sono far andare i comandi al volante della Prius, far andare il display principale con l'autoradio e decidere cosa mettere al posto dell'autoradio di serie... probabilmente nulla appunto perchè ho paura di rovinare clamorosamente la plancia.

Break the silence
This is a period that is' weak, no particular events (apart from a government fell twice and the behavior of some parliamentarians who is so lousy I did not want to even talk) and without the big goals.
Even if ... finally I got the material to prepare the car from germany (arrived after almost a week and the 3rd day after posting) saving about one third of the total compared to the highest bidder in Italy. Account in a month barring unforeseen circumstances to be able to install everything.
Health? I have not sneezed .. ok .. mental health is going down the drain, physically survive to my liver (and diet that made me lose 11kg by November last year). Next Tuesday I have an ultrasound in the throat .. hopefully good! Another half-dozen pounds and I have to redo the wardrobe.
The work has become increasingly boring and devoid of stimuli, a luuuunga holiday would be highly desirable. If I think they are 7 years and a half in the same place I feel A) old B) C old) underestimated D) old: D This year I put
the third star .. wow that ass! : D
the way, if you do not remember when my birthday before heading to the crisis in doubt, know that there are still abundant 3 months;)
A salute to those who are far away .. and do not expect them to be more and others to be alive .. even when you do not need something makes people feel pleasure if only for a hello.

These days it's cold, really cold last year and passed the ice machine in between short trips between home and the other in 2008 finally comes with the snow-covered roads and not just from frost: D
First of all, Happy New Year to all those who still read my blog despite not having yet found a good reason to do so and thanks to all my "fellow travelers" for the good wishes:) .. but back to the cold.
